Landscape Sprawl – An Artistic Response to Living in the Anthropocene is a PhD project which, based on the making of works consisting of landscapes in the scale of 1:1, examines how landscapes can play a much more pronounced role in the urban development of the future. Landscape Sprawl – An Artistic Response to Living in the Anthropocene (2011-2014) is a PhD project under the Aarhus School of Architecture (www.aarch.dk ) and the Centre for Strategic Urban Research (www.byforskning.dk) – a research centre without walls – which, based on an interdisciplinary and holistic perspective, focuses on the opportunities and challenges of the urban area.
